| My dream was to build a resort where guests can experience the joy and relaxation of luxurious accommodations in the heart of mother nature. To share with visitors what I see everyday and say, "WOW." I started in 2000 building a resort from the ground up and opened two luxury guest cabins in June of 2002. The Hayman Fire devastated the area 2 weeks later claiming both cabins, luckily sparing my home (the Wilderness Cabin ). After some long thinking and consideration, I decided to rebuild and the Elk Ridge and Eagle Crest Cabin were opened in spring of 2003. With an enormous amount of help from friends, family and the community, the ranch has been reclaimed and is now a mixture of grasslands and forest. Shortly after the Hayman Fire , I took advantage of some depressed real estate prices to pickup an additional 80-acres and an 8,000 square foot home adjacent to the ranch for a future guest lodge. The home was remodeled and opened as the Westcreek Lodge in the summer of 2005 with 4 spacious Guest Suites. After 8 years of being in the Bed & Breakfast Industry I decided to close the lodge and and focus solely on the cabins. The lodge plus 40 acres in FOR SALE.
