The 2-bedroom Elk Ridge cabin focuses on the nearby Rocky Mountain summits of Thunder Butte and Sheep Nose in CO’s Pike National Forest. It features a western log décor lodging with a long list of amenities for a fantastic cabin vacation in Colorado.

The Elk Ridge Cabin was rebuilt and opened in May of 2003 after burning in the Hayman Fire in 2002. Sunsets from the 3 decks can be absolutely breath taking. The completely private hot tub deck is ideal for honeymooners and romantic occasions.

Three-night minimum stay required during the peak season and children are welcome.

We have had a great time staying in this super little cabin! We definitely feel very comfortable and at home here. The views are just incredible and we really enjoyed a night sky uninterrupted by city lights and only hearing the babble of the the little creek down the hill. Its amazing how beautiful the area is - despite the fire. The wildflowers are just starting to pop up we definitely have to come back when the hillside is an explosion of color.

We have had a most amazing adventure and are already making plans to return. The cabin was a great haven and home base - it will be our first choice when we return!
